Travel Through Stories

A large part of today’s corporate culture includes a fair share of travelling! We travel for work meetings, seminars, recces, site visits & more… but this trip is not very comfortable & leisurely, it's often full of meeting unrealistic deadlines, commuting on odd hours, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, anxiety, stress & panic. A healthy corporate life puts the employees well-being at the core. While many companies are creating healthy work cultures & investing in good corporate wellness programs, travel seems to be thought of, only as a part of work. However, travelling, apart from just work, opens up a whole new world of experiences & insights, which help in making life more meaningful & joyous.

The Travel Through Stories Workshop

Keeping this in mind, we at Wellness Associates brought out a series of workshops called Travel Through Stories, where fellow travellers from different walks of life come & share their stories, experiences & insights from wandering in wilderness. These wanderlusts are people who are well-travelled, thoroughly experienced & popular in their specializations, they could be:

  • Solo backpackers
  • Business
  • Group travel
  • Luxury
  • Adventure travellers
  • Agritourists
  • Cultural travellers
  • Sports travellers
  • Sustainable & conscious travel

What Employees Take Away

In an interactive session with your employees, they talk about why they started travelling & decode the many how’s, what’s & when’s of their journey… what they discovered on the way & thereby encouraging employees to share their own travel stories. The workshop often helps in having an exciting conversation about:

  • The pros of relaxation, calm and peace in nature's garb.
  • Increasing organisation and communication skills.
  • Learning about new cultures and your own self.
  • Experiencing that makes people more humble and grounded.
  • Motivation to come back to work with fresh energy.
  • Explore the possibility for new opportunities.

Our Travel Through Stories workshop in the past have been great opportunities for employees to know each other, build rapport, break ice & make thrilling travel plans with each other.
